KARREE J. PHILLIPS

Karree J. Phillips is a Canadian-born country singer and songwriter who now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Born in Northern British Columbia, Canada, she was raised on a ranch off the Alaska Highway near Fort St. John.

Her musical journey began at 19 when she toured Canada and the U.S. for six years as part of the duo New Canadian Sweethearts with Bob Regan. In Los Angeles, she formed Karree J. Rose and the Ramblers, performing at venues like the Palomino Club and various military bases. She has shared stages with artists such as Boy Howdy, Eddie Dean, Cliffie Stone, Vern Gosdin, Freddie Hart, Del Reeves, and Highway 101. Her debut album, recorded in Los Angeles, featured the track "Leaving You Is On My List Of Things To Do Today," written by Billy Swan, who also provided backup vocals.


After relocating to Nashville, Karree released her first Nashville project, "Pure Energy," produced by Norro Wilson and engineered by Billy Sherrill. The lead single, "Dog On the Dash," reached No. 2 on the Independent charts, leading to performances at major festivals, including the Scandinavian festival in Silkeborg, Denmark. She has continued to tour Europe annually, maintaining a strong presence in Denmark.


Karree's songwriting collaborations include work with hitmakers like Gerald Smith, Cyndi Torres, Kent Maxon, Billy Lee, Scott Barrier, Dallas Remington, Norm McDonald, Antoinette Olsen, Shelly Riff, and Jeff Randall. Her single "Right Turn," co-written with Gerald Smith, reached No. 1 on the Independent charts.

Additionally, her song "Alaska Highway" was featured in the KTUU-TV program "RoadTrippin’ the ALCAN at 75," highlighting her Canadian roots.

In January 2025, her track "Dance" reached No. 1 on the European Academy of Country Music charts. She continues to engage with fans through radio interviews and performances, including appearances on Texas Brew Radio, Cruisin Country Radio, and the Whiskey and Cigarettes Show.
