GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY

Great Northern Railway is a six-piece party band based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, renowned for performing classic country music spanning over five decades. Formed relatively recently, the band has quickly become a vibrant part of the local music scene. They have graced stages at notable events such as the Grande Prairie Stompede, showcasing their dynamic performances to enthusiastic audiences.

Dave Milner, a seasoned musician with deep roots in the Canadian country music scene, leads the band. In 1985, he co-founded the Rock 'N' Horse band with Duane Steele, touring Canada extensively and earning five Alberta Recording Industry awards. Dave's contributions were further recognized with a Juno Award nomination in 1991 and a nomination for Country Group of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with prominent artists like Shania Twain, Terri Clark, and Trisha Yearwood.
