Randy Bachman

Randy Bachman is a Canadian musician and songwriter, known for his contributions to the rock bands The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1943, Bachman began his musical career in the early 1960s as a member of several local bands.
In 1965, Bachman formed The Guess Who, which went on to become one of the most successful rock bands in Canadian history. With Bachman as lead guitarist and primary songwriter, The Guess Who released a string of hit singles, including "American Woman," "These Eyes," and "No Time." The band also became popular in the United States, where they had several Top 40 hits.
After leaving The Guess Who in 1970, Bachman formed Bachman-Turner Overdrive with his brothers, Tim and Robbie, and Fred Turner. The band's hard-driving rock sound and catchy hooks made them a popular concert draw and produced a string of hit singles, including "Takin' Care of Business," "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet," and "Roll on Down the Highway."
In addition to his work with The Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bachman has also released several solo albums and collaborated with other musicians, including Neil Young, Burton Cummings, and Jeff Healey.
